It’s an odd place. Nothing more than a bit of a stroll in the woods really. Oh and there’s a few kids petting animals and a little maze and a nice willow playground.
But, strangely, it’s so much more than that – and it really does get to you.
Tolkien apparently wandered here and found the inspiration for Middle Earth; the BBC are obsessed with it, barely a month goes by when you don’t see all their wagons and banks of lights and metal tracks covering the grass along with a car park full of Winnebagos; even the Harry Potter gang couldnt resist its charms and came here to film.
Puzzlewood. Beguiling and strangely enjoyable – a little bit of magic!
