Well, what is so wonderful about Secret Garden Glamping?
1. First wonderful thing – to be a secret Garden Glamping Site it has to be a secret. But we have failed. It’s not a secret!! At least we hope not. In fact we’ve been trying for years to spread the word to make it the worst kept secret.
2. Second thing Secret Garden Glamping has to be in a Garden! Well, there we win. 1.5 acres of a structured, garden eco-village. 14 years ago we planted it up from a field so it would become a series of small clearings within the forest. Now matured, there are over 40 species of trees and thousands of new plants that have grown over and allowed the forest to blend in with the Garden. The Forest of Dean is right outside the gate – all 31,000 acres of it – In fact, from a hundred yards away, we blend into the forest and are almost invisible. So back to being Secret Garden Glamping.
3. Secret Garden Glamping also needs glamping. Well that we also have. In fact back in 2010 we were one of only four purpose-built glamping sites in the country. Since then awards and articles have spread the word far and wide across the globe. The Times, The Guardian, The Sunday times, National geographic Cool Camping Guides, and countless other publications. And awards too. There is no award for most Secret Garden Glamping site but we do have best uk glamping site, best luxury camping site, best holiday facility in the west of England, best family glamping – awards and awards ,
So, awards, articles, promotions, whatever, if there is one thing that remains the same. Every Summer families from all over the world, lovely couples, groups of friends, and extended multigenerational gangs, all descend on the Dome Garden to enjoy the amazing forest, the quirky range of accommodation, the beautiful walks, the myriad forest activities and of course our amazing pizzas!
